Since 2015 Nikkole has served on the Board of Directors of the Theatre Communications Group (TCG), a national organization whose mission is to strengthen, nurture and promote the professional not-for-profit American theatre.  As of July 1, 2020, in the second year of her second term, she began service as Chairperson of the Board, helping the organization to navigate monumental institutional change amid a seismic shift in the not-for-profit theatre field at large.  The following is a public blog she periodically keeps to chronicle her experience as an advocate.
